The Member Co-op Match Program matches dollar-for-dollar the cash donation of member cooperatives, thus doubling the funds available for hometown projects. By matching funds for projects selected and funded by member cooperatives, the Land O'Lakes Foundation leverages local funding efforts and ensures community support for programs. To participate, member cooperatives should make a donation to an eligible organization then submit a matching application request.
The Direct Member Match Program helps maximize the charitable contributions in member communities. Similar to the Member Co-op Match Program, the Direct Member Match Program matches dollar-for-dollar the cash donations made by member producers (up to $500), doubling the funds available for hometown projects aimed at alleviating hunger, supporting education and building communities. To participate, members should make a donation to an eligible organization then submit a matching application request.
The Direct Member Scholarship program is open to all children and grandchildren of Land O’Lakes’ direct producer (Class B and D) members. The program awards three scholarships of $5,000 each to members’ children or grandchildren in any region. Applicants should be high school seniors entering either a 2 or 4-year school.
The Region Grants Program is currently under review. Please check back soon for details on the 2022 application process.
The Matching Gifts to Education Program offers eligible donors the opportunity to extend Land O'Lakes giving to educational institutions throughout the country. We encourage our employees, board members and Leadership Council members to act as leaders, involving themselves in the financial support of worthy educational institutions and public broadcasting stations across the United States. Contributions made through this program are matched dollar for dollar by Land O'Lakes Foundation.
